Saying Goodbye to Nightfall Glow: A Tokyo Disneyland Parade Retires (2026)

Get ready for some bittersweet news, Disney fans! The Nightfall Glow Electrical Parade, a beloved rainy-day spectacle at Tokyo Disneyland, is bidding farewell soon.

This unique parade, a rare treat for guests, will retire after March 31, 2026. But here's the catch: since it's only performed on rainy days, its final performance is a mystery, leaving us with a sense of anticipation and nostalgia.

Nightfall Glow has been a part of the park's magic since 2011. It initially stepped in as a temporary replacement for the popular Dreamlights parade during its refurbishment. When Dreamlights returned, Nightfall Glow took on the role of a rainy-day savior, replacing another mini parade, Rainy Night Fun.

Following the COVID-19 shutdown, Nightfall Glow made a comeback in September 2020, becoming the daily parade until Dreamlights returned in October 2021. With four dazzling floats that light up and change colors, and featuring beloved characters like the three good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, Mickey and Friends, and the Disney Princesses, it's no wonder this parade has left a lasting impression.

And this is the part most people miss: Nightfall Glow's retirement leaves a rainy-day parade void at Tokyo Disneyland. Will there be a new parade to fill this gap? Only time will tell.
